GRN User Group

This page provides information about the GRN User Group

The purpose of the GRN User Group is to provide a regular forum for interaction between the GRN Connected Agencies (GRN Users).

All Government agencies are invited to attend and raise any issues relating to the GRN as they see fit.

GCIO attend these meetings to provide information current Government strategy and planning initiatives as well as addressing user needs and concerns related to this role.

The Network Manager attends to provide information on GRN management, maintenance and performancce since the last User Group meeting as well as addressing user needs and concerns related to this role.

For two years from March 2009, the GRN User Group will meet monthly, to enable a regular forum to discuss the P25 Upgrade, as well as other normal network discussions.  In 2009, meetings are scheduled for:

  • 21 October* - At RFS HQ (Snowgum Room), 15 Carter St. Homebush Bay (P25 Update)
  • 18 November* - At RFS HQ (Snowgum Room), 15 Carter St. Homebush Bay (P25 Update)
  • 16 December* - At RFS HQ (Snowgum Room), 15 Carter St. Homebush Bay (Full GRN Update)

Where required, special meetings can be called in addition to these dates, as well as any sub-committee or workshop groups.

* If not affected by emergency operations at the time.
