The NSW Government appointed Technisyst as Network Manager.

The relationship with Technisyst commenced in 2002 where they were responsible for the initial design and subsequent construction of the MDRS.

Within this role, Technisyst supervises and takes responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the MDRS. Its contractually defined support services encompass:

• network design and construction services
• project management and professional services
• network management, maintenance and repairs
• provision of MDRS Help Desk
• MDRS customer management services
• MDRS user group forum co-ordinator
• certification of MDRS network and applications
• application software sales and support
• mobile data terminal and radio modem sales and support
• custom software development
