A transition team comprising representatives from the GCIO and Motorola will assist a new Agency in the process of joining and accessing the GRN. This team will consider the Agency’s radio communication needs, operational requirements and necessary budget.  The team ensures that the Agency is briefed on the network’s capabilities, agrees on a connection schedule and talkgroup requirements, and finalises any training and specialised equipment needs.

As a user of the network, all Agencies must enter into a user agreement with the Department of Commerce. This is in the form of an "Official Order".

If you are a new Agency wishing to connect to the network it will be necessary to complete one of these forms once you have lodged an expression of interest and have negotiated your Agency’s requirements.
